Hoar Frost as November comes to an End

The last two mornings have reminded me of a 'winter wonderland'. Well - with a little imagination, I admit. Waiting for the sun to rise and lighten the landscape in soft pinks, and icy blues , I have made the most of walking on the crisp lawn and admiring the tiny icy crystals that became attached to leaves and grass blades, just as the temperatures dropped earlier in the morning. The thin blanket of crystals was so soft, I was tempted drawing lines and writing my name with my finger. Thankfully - with the tender plants in mind - the shimmering sun was strong enough and the temperature rose instantly. The best way to start the day.
