A Feast for the Eyes, too.

There is always something in the garden that inspires me to visual and taste treats. I left my chives to flower and today, I not only brought the stems in for a salad, but some flowers, too. I made sure I left a enough for the bees that visit every now and then.  They are not only great for decorating your salad or omelette, but there are also a few recipes using the torn up flowers. Chive Blossom Butter, for example.

Here is my use of Chive Blossoms to brighten up a grey day in July.
