Whilst the light still reaches the woodland floor, wild flowers cover the ground with a carpet of golden flowers of lesser celandine, pale yellow primroses and all textures of green. We have spotted some delicate sweet violet hiding on hedgebanks, too. And, one single primrose showing off the softest pink! Very soon white starry flowers will emerge between the the bold fresh green of ramson, or wild garlic.
